Test Time

It work well I first dropped it from 8 feet like every one else and it survived so i then threw it into the air and it dropped around 15 feet and also survived.

This Is the egg protector before the drop.

This is the egg protector after the drop as you can see the strings attracted to the egg are to get the egg out of the package easily all you have to do is pull the tab on the outside and the attached strings cut through the tape and pulls the attached egg out of the toilette paper tube unharmed.

Final Design

This time I kept the outer shell the same but in the inside i added a toilet paper roll to hold the egg which did work

Egg drop second try

This time I changed the design by making the triangles equilateral and by making it out of chipboard it did not work once again due to the padding which I plan on changing

Abstract plane

This is a cylindrical abstract plane it is made of bristol paper and was done by scoring with an xacto knife first at random then once i had the basic shape down i added detail and planned what i was to do to make it interesting .
